The watch has been carefully designed and influenced by the rich history of the IAF, and by choosing the Hawker Hunter chronograph – AVI-8 pays particular homage to an important chapter in the history of Indian combat aviation. It was the Hawker Hunter which ably served the IAF from 1954 to 1996 with distinction, excellence, and reliability as the backbone of the IAF and as a critical edge in some of the most important episodes of combat in the 20th Century. Each timepiece is uniquely numbered and is part of a production of only 190 pieces available worldwide.
