Limited Edition of 500 Pieces

As part of our dedicated partnership with the Royal British Legion, the latest chapter in this important collaboration is a decidedly military-inspired limited edition timepiece. Featuring pinpoint TMI hybrid meca-quartz chronograph movement with date, the watch echoes RAF issue chronographs supplied in the 1980s to servicemen. The watch also features an inner turning timing bezel for extra inflight functionality and the dial, hands and subdials are designed and applied for maximum legibility under the most trying conditions. Each of the 500 limited edition watches is uniquely numbered and comes packed with a nylon Nato strap along with its affixed custom hand-crafted genuine leather strap.

£15 from the sale of this product will be paid to Royal British Legion Trading Limited (Company no. 4783730 registered in England and Wales) which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion (Charity no. 219279) and Poppyscotland (Scottish Charity No. SC014096), according to where sales are made.

While paying tribute to those who have served and sacrificed on our behalf, the RBL Tri-Service Limited Edition operates as a high-performance and durable military-ready timepiece, incorporating all the necessary build and engineering for use in any field of combat.

Powered by a precise TMI VK series Meca-quartz chronograph movement, the choice of movement is of particular interest given the UK’s Ministry of Defence issue of a watch from Seiko to its military forces in the 1980s to update previous watch selections from British or Swiss watch companies, making it the first quartz chronograph movement delivered as a bonafide piece of military equipment.

MODERN TIMEKEEPING TECHNOLOGY WITH PURPOSEFUL DETAILS

A stainless steel case measuring 42mm in diameter is equipped with tidy piston-like chronograph pushers, while a hardened mineral lens delivers clear-cut visibility to the dial and hands. Topping the crown is the Royal British Legion’s red two-petal poppy enclosed in epoxy.

Not forgetting this timepiece’s inspiration, the night view of the watch sees the dial face come alive with a luminous field of poppies, adding an important and visually compelling reminder of those who have sacrificed and served.
